I made my first sale! :] Wayyy happy. YAY for Etsy!

On other notes, I am trying my hand at another pair of socks. Pray for me! =)
I think they are coming along way better, they are very tiny gauge, and toe-up. I have part of the toe done. YAY again!

WOW, long time no post! :]

I have been spinning and dying! Take a peek:

This yarn looks wayyy prettier in real life! I dyed some of my corriedale roving, then spun this up. I used grape kool-aid. This is my third hand-spun yarn. I'm getting better!

The yarn on top was made with some roving from moonlight and laughter plied with some mohair from natchwoolie.
The single on the bottom is the same moonlight and laughter roving, only it isn't plied.

Okay, here we go! Here's what I've been working on:

• Brea Bag: It's a little complicated, but I want (I almost wrote wantED, but then I slapped myself and said, "Andrea! You WANT to knit this. This is an awesome, perfect bag." LOL) the challenge.
  

• Recycled/T-shirt Yarn Basket: Did I tell you? I started a group on Ravelry specifically for T-shirt yarn. Check it out! The current knit/crochet along is a basket made out of t-shirt yarn.

Now here's the project you have ALL been waiting for. ;] The project that involves YOU! I have been mentioning it, now here it is!!! Drum roll, please! LOL- Okay. No more dilly-dallying. Here's the project.

I am making this doll, and I am going to donate it to an orphanage. I got to thinking, and I realized that what this doll is going to need is a couple of accessories. That's when I thought of you guys. I could crochet the doll, then you guys could make some accessories! Just something small, like maybe a necklace for it, or a sweater. Maybe a little skirt. You could even make it a dog! Or a book. A little mini book! You could make ANYTHING for it, the only restriction is that it has to be tiny. Please let me know if you are interested! It's for a good cause. Let me know if you have any questions!
