I don't think I've mentioned this, but he started a etsy shop with t-shirt yarn after he saw me making it. He's really dived right in! shreddedtees.etsy.com

I made a headband for a swap I'm doing on ravelry! The pattern is here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/headband-with-flower

Speaking of ravelry, I'm also in a group called traveling creature laboratory. You make an amigurumi body, mail it to the next person, they add a head, then they mail it to another person, they add arms, etc. Then finally, when it's done, they mail it back to you! Cool, huh? Here's my body:

I made another maraca:

And I made a crocheted cotton candy. I'm not completely happy with it. What do you guys think?

That traveling creature laboratory sounds really cool. And the body you've crocheted is also very nice. I bet it's going to be something awesome at the end.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how your creature turns out! I loved playing the drawing game, an amigurumi version sounds amazing! xo
ReplyDeleteI made a cotton candy a couple of years ago. Actually it was one of the 1st Amis I ever made, and I used a dog brush to make it real fuzzy. Just a thought. 😃
