Last day to enter my giveaway!

Quick! Learn more about my giveaway here!

So today I went shopping and went to the library. I checked out some awesome books:

The books I checked out at the library

I finally found some books on amigurumi at my library! The one in the middle, Amigurumi Animals, is pretty informative! It talks about the background of the word amigurumi, the history of Japanese dolls, and it shows you how to design your own amis. There are a couple of patterns, but none of them are particularly appealing to me. As for Toys to Crochet, it was mostly patterns and it didn't mention the word amigurumi, although I recognized the patterns being amigurumi-like (worked in spirals, begins with ch 2, etc). It had patterns for amigurumis, blocks, balls, and other toys. The book on the left is not about amigurumi, but it had alot of cool patterns that I might have to try. It's called The Chicks with Sticks Guide to Crochet.

When we went to Joann's I bought a size Q (16 mm) crochet hook and a roll of purple duct tape. I want to try to make a wallet out of the tape. I think I will use this tutorial. With the huge crochet hook, I plan on crocheting up some quick scarves for my family.

Today I made a Granny Square Pincushion. I got the idea from Squishy Cute Stuff, who sent me an e-mail with a link to this page. It was pretty easy, it only took me about 30 min. And you can have it, if you win my giveaway!

Okay, I announce the winner of my giveaway tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008. I'm so excited! I am going to put all your names into a bowl, shake it up, and pick a name!
If you win, you get all the goodies in the picture below :]

What you will get if you win!!!

I'm not asking a question in this post because I have no idea what to ask. LOL. Anyway, click here to learn how you can earn some more entries. But hurry! Because I will stop counting entries at 3 p.m. Pacific Time on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008.

(Sorry about the terrible pictures, it was late and the lighting was poor.)

P.S. I have to officially claim that I am in love with this and this. I plan on buying both when I have enough spending money. (Which will hopefully be very, very soon.)
